Experience
I earned both my bachelor's and master's degrees in Physics from Wilson College. I also have more than four years of experience in teaching physics. As I continue teaching, I also continue learning new teaching strategies and techniques through studying and implementing the most current approaches, including the integration of technology into learning. Therefore, the longer I teach and tutor, the better I become at it, and the more benefit I am able to provide to my students. I am able to tutor students in many math and science topics, including some AP and IB classes. I have experience working with students and behavior management, as well as planning out lessons and putting them into practice, for both a classroom and individual setting. The skills that I utilize as a tutor are good management skills, a strength in developing contemporary and innovative study plans, and my knowledge of the subjects I tutor in math and science. I consistently assess where my student is at, and use that to plan out individualized lessons that lead them towards achieving their learning goals. In my free time, I enjoy arts and crafts.
